Lottery registration for the 2026 races-

• signup the month of December 2025 (12/1 to 12/30)

• January 1st at 11 am we will draw names and invite entrants. You will have one day to accept or deny the invite. Please only signup for lottery if you plan to accept invite- it helps everyone waiting for a chance.

  
  

  Early invite instructions

• early invites for rollover runners, and 2025 Volunteers go out on November 24th, 2025.

• Please reach out before November 30th, 2025 if you do not See your invite.

• Your invite will come from Ultrasignup. It comes to the email address that you use for Ultrasignup.

• Rollover & 2025 Volunteer runners must signup during this early invite time period to be guaranteed a spot into the 2026 race. If you signup after November 30th you will go into the lottery/Waitlist.

Waitlist

• Runners on the waitlist will be invited off the waitlist in the order that they go on. You will have the option to accept or deny the invite.

We have applied a race credit to anyone that officially signed up on our registration page to volunteer for the 2025 race. We also sent each of you a early invite. If you would like to be eligible for early invites and race credits be sure to officially signup on our page to volunteer. Thank you volunteers! We could not do this without you!

Registration will open December 1st. We will draw participants on January 1st at 11 am Central time.

2021, 2022 & 2023, 2024- 100 mile race/100k/50k filled immediatly upon registration opening

Hop on waitlist early for a chance to get into race.

We will send you an invite when a spot opens up and you can accept it or deny it. Estimate of going through 50 to 80 on waitlist

This classic ultra marathon was started in 1996 by Kevin and Kris Setnes. They RD'd for 6 years, then Tim "Timo" Yanacheck and Jason Dorgan Co-RD'd until 2018. These four ultra running pioneers built traditions in Kettle Moraine 100 that will carry on for many years to come. Their work is why so many of us are trail and ultra-marathoners. Thank you Kevin, Kris, Timo and Jason for all you have done. You are greatly admired, respected and appreciated by the trail and ultra community.
